GDB # 24 @ Lethbridge

Oil Kings (23 12-8-1-2) @ Hurricanes (24 5-18-0-1)

It's the last road game of the first half tonight for the Edmonton Oil Kings.  They return to Lethbridge for the third and final time this season, after losing 5-2 to the 'Canes on Saturday night.  Lethbridge came out on fire and played a very physical game against Edmonton and opened up a 3-1 lead by early in the third period. Josh Lazowski scored a power play goal to cut the gap to one, but Edmonton was unable to capitalize on a 5 on three advantage and the 'Canes went on to add a pair of goals to round out the scoring.

Players to watch:

Edmonton: Ryan Dech.  The 18 year old has proven to be a very versatile player so far this season.  He is steady on the back end, and has been called upon to play the wing at times this season as well.  With some injuries on the blueline, Dech's role has expand and the veteran defender has stepped up this season.  Look for him possibly to play some forward again tonight in Lethbridge.

Lethbridge: Brady Ramsay.  The Calgary product is off to good start so far with the '.  Ramsay registered a hat trick last game to pace the Hurricanes to the 5-2 win over the Oil Kings.  So far he has 10 goals on the season, after registering one  in 57 games last season.

Season Series: The teams have split the two games so far this season.  Edmonton beat Lethbridge 5-1 on October 11th, before losing last game.  Both games so far have been at the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge.  The teams will play six times this season, and faceoff again Saturday night in Edmonton.
