Week 2 Review

Review: The Oil Kings have won 3 of their past 4 games to improve their record to 4-2-1-1 on the season.  The Kings are in the midst of a long road trip which included a three game in three night stretch in Saskatchewan.

Upcoming:  The Kings continue the roadie Tuesday night in Lethbridge before wrapping it up with a rematch with the Kootenay Ice in Cranbrook on Wednesday.  The Kings return to Rexall Place Friday to battle the Pats.

Notes:  Stephane Legault unofficially scored his first WHL hat-trick in Swift Current Sunday night.  The third goal has been credited to TJ Foster as off now.  Griffen Reinhart has served 3 games of his 5 game suspension for a kneeing major against Kootenay.  The Oil Kings acquired 20 year old Jordan Peddle early in the week for 20 year old Jon Groenheyde.  Groenheyde took the loss for Swift on Sunday.  The Oil Kings are 14th in the league on the power-play at 18.8%, and 9th on the penalty kill at 80.5%.
